Biography

Colleen focuses her efforts on improving organizational and employee performance, management & leadership development, team building, sales/business development, and empowering women in leadership. She has a strong track record of success in changing attitudes, building trust, and transforming the capabilities of people to support a culture of growth, innovation, and collaboration. In addition, Colleen contributes to the firm's Contract Sales Consultant (CSC) program and manages a team dedicated to the growth of the brand.

Colleen has authored numerous articles, including: “Do Women and Men Lead Differently,” “Developing Emotional Intelligence,” and “The Case for Emotionally Intelligent Lawyers.” She has developed and facilitated Women in Leadership workshops, most recently for the Salesforce NYC Women in Technology group and for BGE and Constellation’s Women in Power network.
Her passion for empowering women leaders is matched by her commitment to cross-functional collaboration, she has worked closely with engineering, technology, and scientific teams to sharpen their ability to communicate complex data with clarity, elevate strategic storytelling, and design more effective executive presentations. Colleen also served on the committee for the Women’s Venture Fund, an organization dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs succeed in business.
As Vice President of Learning and Organizational Development at Oppenheimer Funds, she led high-impact learning, performance, leadership, and organizational development efforts. For over 20 years, she designed and delivered tailored solutions, ranging from large-scale change programs to targeted team interventions, helping leaders and teams adopt more productive and collaborative ways of working aligned with firm strategy and culture. Her work included partnering with technology leaders to enhance influence and presentation skills for technical to non-technical audiences.
Colleen brings deep expertise in leading co-located learning, development, and HR technology teams, where she successfully implemented HR platforms and built enterprise-wide leadership development ecosystems. Her approach blends empathy with business acumen, empowering highly specialized teams, including data scientists and engineers, to connect their work to broader organizational narratives.
Colleen has studied consulting with Peter Block (Flawless Consulting) and leadership coaching with Annie McKee of the Teleos Leadership Institute. She is certified in a number of psychometric tools, including DISC, Social Styles, Caliper, Personalysis, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, which she uses to tailor learning interventions and coaching experiences that resonate across technical, analytical, and leadership populations. In addition, Colleen has a keen perspective on sales and business development teams helping to promote effectiveness across multiple verticals in the finance and insurance space.
Colleen holds a BFA from FIT, and certificates in Management & Organization Development from New York University and Executive Leadership from Columbia University. She studied and received her CPCC (Certified Professional Coach) from one of the leading coaching schools in the US: The Coaches Training Institute as recognized by the International Coaching Federation where she passed rigorous standards of qualifications and ethical practices.
